ABSTRACT
Background: Learning is an activity to acquire knowledge and someone is considered learning when they experience not knowing to comprehending things. The changes referred to such changing in knowledge, attitudes, behaviors and skills. Many factors affect the learning outcomes, and this research emphasizes in the factor of learning styles. Learning style is the most accessible way that an individual has in absorbing, organizing, and processing the information received. Choosing appropriate learning style is the key to success in learning.
Objective: This study aims to determine the influence of learning styles on the score of Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) in Level II students of Medical Studies Program Faculty of Medicine and Health Science, Tadulako University 2015.
Research methods: This study uses an analytical quantitative research design with a cross sectional approach. The samples are sampling with a total number of 52 students of Medical Studies Program Faculty of Medicine and Health Science, Tadulako University 2015. The research instrument used questionnaire of learning style research and it is referred to the effect on the OSCE score of students in Level II, obtained from secondary data, which was published by the Assessment Section.
Result: The results of this study indicate that most of the respondents have a reflective learning style (reflector). In the one-way ANOVA test, it was obtained p = 0.041 (
