ABSTRAK

Latar Belakang: Rumah sakit adalah suatu tempat dimana orang sakit dirawat dan ditempatkan dalam jarak yang sangat dekat. Di tempat ini pasien mendapatkan terapi dan perawatan untuk dapat sembuh. Tetapi, rumah sakit selain untuk mencari kesembuhan, juga merupakan depot bagi berbagai macam penyakit terutama penyakit yang disebabkan oleh bakteri, yang merupakan penyebab utama penyakit infeksi. Infeksi yang terjadi pada penderita-penderita yang sedang dalam proses perawatan ini disebut infeksi nosokomial.
Tujuan: Untuk mengidentifikasi bakteri melalui udara yang terdapat di Ruang Rawat Inap Paviliun Kenanga Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Undata Kota Palu Tahun 2016.
Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian studi observasional deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cara Simple random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah bakteri udara di ruang rawat inap paviliun Kenanga Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Undata.
Hasil: Pada hasil penelitian didapatkan variasi bakteri di ruang rawat inap Paviliun Kenanga Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Undata Kota Palu, diantaranya adalah 5 sampel untuk untuk Staphylococcus aureus (31,25%) 4 sampel untuk Alcaligenes faicalis (25%) 4 sampel Proteus panneri (25%) 2 sampel micrococcus Sp. (12,5)% dan 1 sampel Listeria Sp. (6,25%).
Kesimpulan: Terdapat variasi bakteri yang tersebar melalui udara dalam Ruang Rawat Inap Paviliun Kenanga Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Undata Kota Palu. Bakteri terbanyak adalah Staphylococcus aureus., bakteri yang di temukan ini dapat mengakibatkan infeksi nosokomial.

IDENTIFICATION OF AIRBORNE BACTERIA IN INPATIENT PAVILION KENANGA AT UNDATA HOSPITAL PALU

ABSTRACT

Background: Hospital is a place where sick people were treated and placed in a very close distance to reach. In this place, these patients received therapy and treatment to be cured. However, a hospital is not only a place to treated, but also a places for some varoius disease, especially diseases caused by the bacteria, which is a major cause of infectious diseases. Infections that occur in people who are in the process of treatment is called nosocomial infections.
Objective: To identify the bacteria through the air contained in the Kenanga Pavilion of Undata General Hospital Palu 2016.
Method: This study used a quantitative research with an observational study design. The sampling method is a Simple random sampling. Samples used in this research is airborne bacteria in Kenanga Pavilion Undata General Hospital.
Result: Results find in this research is various bacteria in the Kenanga Pavilion’s Room Undata General Hospital, including 5 samples for Staphylococcus aureus (31,25%), 4 samples for Alcaligenes faicalis (25%), 4 samples for Proteus panneri (25%), 2 samples for Micrococcus sp. (12.5%), and 1 sample for Listeria sp ( 6.25%).
Conclution: There are variations in the bacteria spread through the air in the Kenanga Pavilion General Hospital Undata Palu. Most of these bacteria are Staphylococcus aureus, this bacterial infection can lead to a nosocomial infections.
