ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang: Rumah sakit merupakan bagian integral organisasi pelayanan medik yang bertugas memberikan layanan kesehatan baik kuratif maupun preventif kepada masyarakat sekitar beserta lingkungannya. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan resiko penyebaran infeksi dari satu pasien ke pasien lainnya, begitupun dengan petugas kesehatan yang sering terpapar dengan agen infeksi. Pasien rawat inap beresiko sangat tinggi untuk terjadinya infeksi nosokomial, Melihat ruang rawat inap berbeda dengan ruang operasi dan isolasi yang menggunakan sterilisasi yang ketat, akses untuk masuk ke ruang rawat inap lebih mudah mengingat kepentingan berkunjung ke ruang rawat inap lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan ruang cuci atau dapur. Diperlukan penelitian atau pengujian secara klinis di laboratorium untuk mengetahui apakah udara di ruang perawatan mempunyai potensi sumber penularan infeksi nosokomial. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengindentifikasikan bakteri di ruang rawat inap matahari Kelas IIIA RSUD Undata tahun 2015.
Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian observasional desktiptif. Sampel yang diteliti adalah bakteri yang ada di dalam udara di ruang rawat inap matahari kelas IIIA RSUD Undata Palu sebanyak 12 sampel dan diambil dengan teknik cawan terbuka. Identifikasi bakteri dilakukan dengan media kultur dan identifikasi biokimia.
Hasil Penelitian: Pada hasil penelitian menunjukan bakteri yang didapatkan 6 sampel untuk Staphylococcus epidermidis (50%), 3 sampel untuk Micrococcus varians (25%), 2 sampel untuk Staphylococcus aureus (16,66%), 1 sampel untuk Enterobacter aeorogenes (8,33%).
Kesimpulan: Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini jenis bakteri terbanyak ditemukan adalah Staphylococcus epidermidis.

IDENTIFICATION OF AIR BACTERIAL IN TREATMENT ROOM OF
UNDATA HOSPITAL PALU

ABSTRACT
Background: The hospital is an integral part of medical service organizations in charge of providing services both curative and preventive health to the surrounding community and their environment. This can lead to the risk of spreading infection from one patient to another, as well as with health workers who are often exposed to infectious agents. Hospitalized patients at very high risk for nosocomial infection, Looking inpatient room is different from the operating room and the isolation that uses rigorous sterilization, access to enter the patient room more easily remember the interests of a visit to the inpatient unit is higher than the laundry room or kitchen. Required studies or clinical testing in the laboratory to determine whether the air in the treatment room has a potential source of transmission of nosocomial infections. The purpose of this study was to identify the bacteria in the matahari kelas IIIA treatment room of RSUD Undata 2015.
Method: This study is a descriptive observational study. The samples are bacteria that is in the air in the room inpatient hospital lotus Undata Palu and a total of 12 samples were taken with the technique of open cup. Identification of bacteria were performed with culture medium and biochemistry identification.
Result: Research results showed bacteria obtained 6 samples for Staphylococcus epidermidis (50%), 3 samples for Micrococcus varians (25%) 2 samples for Staphylococcus aureus (16,66%), 1 samples for Enterobacter aerogenes (8,33%). Conclution: This research concluded that Staphylococcus epidermidis is the most found bacteria.
