Kandungan asap rokok terdapat nikotin yang dapat membahayakan kesehatan ibu hamil dan janin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui risiko paparan asap rokok dan hipertensi kehamilan terhadap ketuban pecah dini di RSU Anutapura Palu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional dengan pendekatan case-control study. Subjek kasus adalah ibu bersalin mengalami ketuban pecah dini, dan kelompok kontrol adalah ibu bersalin normal. Sampel kasus dan kontrol masing 30 dan 60 sampel dengan matching pendidikan. Sampel dipilih secara total sampling. Data dianalisis dengan uji odds ratio dan bivariat pada batas kemaknaan (95%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa paparan asap rokok dan usia ibu merupakan faktor yang kuat terhadap risiko ketuban pecah dini dengan OR 4.333, 95% CI= 1.341-13.998 dan OR 3.596, 95% CI= 1.381-9.362. Sementara itu hipertensi dan paritas tidak berisiko terhadap ketuban pecah dini dengan OR 1.195, 95% CI= 0.430-3.318, OR 1.069, 95% CI= 0.444-2.572. Paparan asap rokok merupakan variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap terjadinya ketuban pecah dini. Disarankan pentingnya menghindari paparan asap rokok dan mengontrol tekanan darah untuk menghindari kejadian ketuban pecah dini yang berdampak pada komplikasi persalinan. The purpose of this study was to determine the risk of second hand smoke exposure and hypertension of pregnancy on premature rupture of membranes in RSU Anutapura Palu. This study was an observational study with case-control study approach. Subject maternity cases are experiencing premature rupture of membranes, and the control group was normal birth mothers. Sample cases and controls respectively 30 and 60 samples with matching education. Samples were selected in total sampling. Data were analyzed by odds ratio and bivariate at the limit of significance (95%). The results showed that exposure to tobacco smoke and maternal age is a strong factor against the risk of premature rupture of membranes with 4,333 OR, 95% CI = 1341-13998 and 3,596 OR, 95% CI = 1381-9362. Mean while hypertension and parity are not at risk of premature rupture of membranes with 1,195 OR, 95% CI = 0430-3318, 1,069 OR, 95% CI = 0444-2572. Exposure to cigarette smoke is the most influential variable on the occurrence of premature rupture of membranes. At suggest the importance of avoiding exposure to cigarette smoke and blood pressure control to avoid the incidence of premature rupture of the impact on childbirth complications.
