Peminatan Epidemiologi Program Studi Kesehatan Masyarakat Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Tadulako Palu Skripsi, Januari 2017 Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) dan Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) merupakan penyakit menular yang menjadi masalah global. Kota Palu merupakan salah satu daerah di Sulawesi Tengah yang memiliki kasus HIV/AIDS tertinggi yaitu 51% pada tahun 2016. Kenyataan bahwa 57,8% kasus AIDS berasal dari kelompok umur 15-29 tahun, mengindikasikan bahwa mereka tertular HIV pada umur yang masih sangat muda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui “Faktor-Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Tindakan Pencegahan HIV/AIDS pada Siswa Kelas X dan XI di SMA Negeri 2 Palu”. Jenis penelitian menggunakan Survey Analitik dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional Study. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 93 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara Stratified Random Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan (ρ=0,039), media massa (ρ=0,000), peran teman sebaya (ρ=0,006) dan peran keluarga (ρ=0,000) merupakan faktor yang berhubungan dengan tindakan pencegahan HIV/AIDS. Media Massa dan Peran Keluarga merupakan faktor yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap tindakan pencegahan HIV/AIDS. Disarankan kepada petugas kesehatan dan guru agar bekerja sama untuk melaksanakan sosialisasi kepada siswa mengenai pencegahan penularan HIV/AIDS. The results showed that the knowledge (ρ = 0.039), the media (ρ = 0.000), the role of peers (ρ = 0.006) and the role of the family (ρ = 0,000) is a factor related to the preventive measures of HIV/AIDS. Role of Mass Media and the Family is a factor that affects the preventive measures of HIV/AIDS. Suggested to health workers and teachers to work together for carry out socialization to students about the prevention of transmission of HIV/AIDS.
