 <note>ABSTRACT&#13;
Background :Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is a public health problem in&#13;
Indonesia, the number of sufferers is likely to increase and spread more widely.&#13;
The main vector of dengue fever is Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus. Vector&#13;
control can be performed with the use of larvicides, namely insecticide to kill the&#13;
larva so it does not develop into its adult stage. One of the plants that grow well&#13;
in Indonesia is Soursop. Seed soursop (Annona muricata Linn) are known to have&#13;
toxic properties (toxic) is strong enough. &quot;The effectiveness of killing power of&#13;
soursop seed extract (Annona muricata Linn) Against larvae of Aedes aegypti &quot;,&#13;
that the soursop seeds contain active compounds in the form of annonain and&#13;
acetogenin that can kill larvae of Aedes aegypt.&#13;
Aim : The aim of this study To determine the effectiveness of soursop (Annona&#13;
muricata Linn) Seed Extract As larvicides on Aedes aegypti larvae.&#13;
Research methods :This type of research is true experimental posttest only&#13;
control group design. The test plants used were seeds of soursop (Annona&#13;
muricata Linn) As much as 1000 mg were divided into 5 groups plus the negative&#13;
control, in which the negative control group (distilled water), a group of soursop&#13;
seed extract (Annona muricata Linn) Concentration of 100 ppm, a concentration&#13;
of 250 ppm, a concentration of 500 ppm, the concentration of 750 ppm and 1000&#13;
ppm. Then test program Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) by the&#13;
method of Test One Way ANOVA followed by Post Hoc test Least significant&#13;
Difference (LSD). Then the number of larval mortality observations made within&#13;
24 hours. The data obtained were analyzed using probit test to determine LC50&#13;
and LC99.&#13;
Research result : The results showed that the seed extract of soursop (Annona&#13;
muricata Linn) Has larvicidal effect on Aedes aegypti larvae.&#13;
Conclusion: Soursop seed extract (Annona muricata Linn) Has larvicidal effect&#13;
on Aedes aegypti larvae.&#13;

ABSTRAK&#13;
Latar Belakang : Penyakit demam berdarah dengue (DBD) merupakan salah satu&#13;
masalah kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia yang jumlah penderitanya cenderung&#13;
meningkat dan penyebarannya semakin luas. Vektor utama penyakit DBD adalah&#13;
nyamuk Aedes aegypti dan Aedes albopictus. Pengendalian vektor dapat&#13;
dilakukan dengan penggunaan larvasida, yaitu insektisida untuk membunuh&#13;
stadium larva sehingga tidak berkembang menjadi fase dewasa. Salah satu&#13;
tumbuhan yang berkembang dengan baik di Indonesia adalah Sirsak. Biji sirsak&#13;
(Annona Muricata Linn) diketahui mempunyai sifat racun (toksik) yang cukup&#13;
kuat. “Efektifitas daya bunuh ekstrak biji sirsak (Annona Muricata Linn) terhadap&#13;
larva nyamuk Aedes aegypti”, bahwa biji sirsak mengandung senyawa aktif&#13;
berupa annonain dan acetogenin yang dapat membunuh larva nyamuk Aedes&#13;
aegypti.&#13;
Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui efektivitas ekstrak biji sirsak&#13;
(Annona Muricata Linn) sebagai larvasida pada larva Aedes aegypti.&#13;
Metode Penelitian : Jenis penelitian ini adalah true experimental posttest only&#13;
control group design. Tanaman uji yang digunakan adalah biji sirsak (Annona&#13;
Muricata Linn) sebanyak 1000 mg yang dibagi ke dalam 5 kelompok ditambah&#13;
kontrol negatif, dimana kelompok kontrol negatif (aquades), kelompok ekstrak&#13;
biji sirsak (Annona Muricata Linn) konsentrasi 100 ppm, konsentrasi 250 ppm,&#13;
konsentrasi 500 ppm, konsentrasi 750 ppm dan konsentrasi 1000 ppm. Kemudian&#13;
uji Program Statistical Product Service and Solutions (SPSS) dengan metode Uji&#13;
One Way Anova dilanjutkan dengan uji Post Hoc Least significant Difference&#13;
(LSD). Kemudian Pengamatan jumlah mortalitas larva dilakukan dalam waktu 24&#13;
jam. Data yang diperoleh dianalisa menggunakan uji probit untuk menentukan&#13;
LC50 dan LC99.&#13;
Hasil Penelitian : Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak biji sirsak&#13;
(Annona Muricata Linn) memiliki efek larvasida terhadap larva Aedes aegypti.&#13;
Kesimpulan: Ekstrak biji sirsak (Annona Muricata Linn) memiliki efek larvasida&#13;
terhadap larva Aedes aegypti.&#13;
