 <note>ABSTRAK&#13;
Latar Belakang. Air merupakan senyawa yang sangat penting fungsinya bagi kehidupan umat manusia dan mahkluk hidup lainnya. Air yang dibutuhkan manusia meliputi air layak pakai yang bersih dan untuk keperluan minum.Air minuma dalah air yang kualitasnya memenuhi syarat kesehatan dan dapat langsung diminum, syarat kesehatan yang dimaksud adalah salah satunya syarat mikrobiologi.&#13;
Metode. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik total sampling dengan jumlah sampel 8. Dengan tahapan kerja terdiri dari mengisolasi bakteri, pewarnaan gram dan uji biokimia yang dilakukan di laboratorium kesehatan daerah provinsi Sulawesi Tengah.&#13;
Hasil. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan semua sampel terdapat bakteri gram negatif. Bakteri yang didapatkan adalah Proteus vulgaris, Proteus penneri, Seratia liquefaciens, Proteus mirabilis, Escherichia coli dan Pseudomonas aeroginosa.&#13;
Kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian pada air minum menunjukkan seluruh sampel terdapat bakteri gram negatif. Maka ditinjau dari parameter mikrobiologi air minum warung makan kaki lima di taman Gelanggang Olahraga Kota Palutahun 2016 belum memenuhi syarat sebagai air minum layak konsumsi.&#13;

ABSTRACT&#13;
Background.Water is a compound that have very important function for the life of human beings and other living things. Water that needed by humanis clean, suitableand used for drinking purposes. Drinking water is water that’s have fulfilled the requirements of quality of health and can be directly drunk, the health requirementsmentionedareone of the microbiology terms.&#13;
Method. This research was arranged as observational study with descriptive approach. Sampling was done by total sampling with 8 samples. With phases of work consist of isolating the bacteria, gram staining and biokimia tests conducted in the health laboratory area of Central Sulawesi province.&#13;
Results. The results of this research showed all samples contained gram-negative bacteria. The bacterias obtained are Proteus vulgaris, Proteus penneri, Seratialiquefaciens, Proteus mirabilis, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeroginosa bacteria.&#13;
Conclusion.Based on the results of research on drinking water samples showed all samples contained gram-negative bacteria. So bacteriologically, drinking water of street foodstallsat Sport Park Palu in 2016 have not yet qualified as drinking waterfor consumption.&#13;
