 <note>ABSTRAK&#13;
Latar Belakang. Selama proses pendidikan di sekolah sering diadakan tes hasil belajar yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui prestasi belajar yang telah dicapai siswa. Salah satu tes untuk mengukur hasil belajar yaitu ujian akhir semester. Tes tersebut membuat siswa merasa cemas. Kecemasan adalah suatu mood biasanya tidak menyenangkan disertai sensasi di tubuh (somatik) dan terjadi dengan rasa ketidakpastian dan ancaman akan masa depan secara subjektif.&#13;
Metode. Penelitian deskriptif dengan Pendekatan Cross Sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara Non-Probability sampling menggunakan metode Quota Sampling dengan jumlah sampel masing-masing 50 siswa dan 50 siswi. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji univariat dan bivariat ( Mann-Whitney test).&#13;
Hasil. Hasil penelitian diperoleh siswa dengan tingkat kecemasan ringan sebanyak 48 orang (96%),kecemasan sedang 2 (4%) orang dan kecemasan berat tidak ada sedangkan pada siswi dengan tingkat kcemasan ringan sebanyak 44 orang (88%), kecemasan sedang 2 orang (4%) dan kecemasan berat 4 orang (8%) dan didapatkan rata-rata tingkat kecemasan siswa yaitu 44,80 dan siswi 56,20 dengan nilai ρ = 0,048 atau ρ &lt; 0,05 yang berarti ada perbandingan tingkat kecemasan antara siswa dan siswi dalam menghadapi ujian semester.&#13;
Kesimpulan. Terdapat perbandingan tingkat kecemasan antara siswa dan siswi kelas X di SMA Negeri 5 Palu dalam menghadapi ujian semester.&#13;

ABSTRAK&#13;
Background. During the process of education in schools often held the achievement test aims to determine learning achievement that has been achieved by students. One test to measure learning outcomes which final exams. Such tests make students feel anxious. Anxiety is a mood usually accompanied by unpleasant sensations in the body (somatic) and occurs with a sense of uncertainty and the threat of future subjectively.&#13;
Methods. Descriptive research with cross sectional approach. Sampling technique Non-Probability Sampling Quota sampling method with a sample of each of the 50 male students and 50 female students. The research data was analyzed using univariate and bivariate (Mann-Whitney test).&#13;
Result. The results obtained by students with a level of mild anxiety as many as 48 people (96%), moderate anxiety was 2 (4%) of people and severe anxiety does not exist while the female students with a level of mild anxiety many as 44 people (88%), moderate anxiety was 2 people (4 %) and severe anxiety was 4 people (8%) and obtained an average level of student anxiety is 44.80 and female 56.20 with a value of 0.048 or ρ = ρ</note>
