xiii , 53 hlm ; 29 cm xii ABSTRACT Background: Coronary heart disease is the number one death cause globally. It was reported the number of CHD death cases in Palu were 25 cases. Coronary heart disease is cardiac dysfunction of the heart muscle due to blood deficiency caused by the narrowing of coronary arteries. CHD has risk factors including age, gender, and family history of heart disease as factors which cannot be modified. Dyslipidemia, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, smoking, and obesity are the risk factors that can be modified. Objective:To determine the level of HDL cholesterol, LDL, and hypertension with the CHD cases at Undata hospital in 2015. Method:The research is an observational analytic study using cross sectional study design. The sampling tehcnique was total sampling, which were 98 patients, 73 patients diagnosed with having CHD, and 25 patients diagnosed with non-CHD. The data analysis were univariate and bivariate with chi-square test (α=0,05).
