 <note>ABSTRAK&#13;
Latar Belakang : Penyakit demam berdarah dengue (DBD) merupakan satu masalah&#13;
kesehatan di dunia karena prevalensinya yang cenderung meningkat serta penyebarannya&#13;
yang semakin luas. Pemberantasan vektor menggunakan larvasida kimiawi dinilai masih&#13;
memiliki banyak kekurangan dan dapat mencemari lingkungan, maka di kembangkanlah&#13;
bahan larvasida alami. Daun Binahong (Anredera Cordifolia (Tenore) Steenis)&#13;
mengandung senyawa tanin, flavonoid, dan saponin yang dimana, senyawa tersebut dapat&#13;
berfungsi sebagai larvasida alami.&#13;
Tujuan : Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efek ekstrak daun binahong&#13;
(Anredera Cordifolia (Tenore) Steenis) sebagai larvasida terhadap larva Aedes aegypti&#13;
Instar III.&#13;
Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan true experimental post control. Jumlah&#13;
sampel sebanyak 500 larva yang terdiri dari 4 kelompok perlakuan dan 2 kelompok&#13;
kontrol dengan 4 kali pengulangan. Larva dinyatakan mati apabila tidak bergerak dan&#13;
tidak merespon rangsangan.&#13;
Hasil : Dari uji pendahuluan, untuk kelompok perlakuan pada konsentrasi 250 ppm, 500&#13;
ppm, 750 ppm, dan 1000 ppm tidak di dapatkan nyamuk yang mati, sedangkan pada&#13;
kelompok kontrol untuk kontrol (+) menggunakan abate 1% terdapat 100% nyamuk yang&#13;
mati dari total sampel, dan untuk kontrol (-) menggunakan aquades tidak di dapatkan&#13;
nyamuk yang mati.&#13;
Kesimpulan : Ekstrak daun binahong (Anredera Cordifolia (Tenore) Steenis) tidak&#13;
efektif digunakan sebagai larvasida alami pada larva Aedes aegypti Instar III.&#13;

ABSTRACT&#13;
Background : The disease dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is was health problem in the&#13;
world because of it’s prevalence tends to increase and spread wider. Eradication of&#13;
vector using chemical larvacide is considered still has many deficiencies and can pollute&#13;
the environment, then developed natural larvacidal materials. Binahong Leaves&#13;
(Anredera Cordifolia (Tenore) Steenis) contains tannin, flavonoid, and saponin&#13;
compounds in which, they can act as natural larvacides.&#13;
Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of binahong leaf extract&#13;
(Anredera Cordifolia (Tenore) Steenis) as larvicide to Aedes aegypti larvae Instar III.&#13;
Method : The type of this research wasexperimental post control design.The total sample&#13;
of 500 larvae consisted of 4 treatment groups and 2 control groups with four repetition.&#13;
Larvae declared dead if it does not move and doesn’t respond to stimuli.&#13;
Result : From preliminary test, for treatment group at concentration of 250 ppm, 500&#13;
ppm, 750 ppm, and 1000 ppm is not getting dead mosquito, while in control group (+)&#13;
using abate 1% there are 100% dead mosquitoes of the total sample, and for control (-)&#13;
using aquades not getting dead mosquitoes.&#13;
Conclusions : Leaf extract of binahong (Anredera Cordifolia (Tenore) Steenis) was not&#13;
effectively used as a natural larvacide in Aedes aegypti larvae Instar III&#13;
