ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang. Rumah Sakit merupakan suatu institusi pelayanan medis yang memberikan pelayanan personal secara paripurna antara lain rawat jalan, rawat inap, dan gawat darurat . Rumah sakit adalah suatu tempat dimana orang yang sakit dirawat dan ditempatkan dalam jarak yang sangat dekat. Di tempat ini pasien mendapatkan terapi dan perawatan untuk dapat sembuh.
Tujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bakteri udara di ruang hemodialisa RSUD undata Palu tahun 2016.
Metode. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Observasional dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel 8. Isolasi dan identifikasi bakteri dilakukan di Laboratorium Kesehatan Daerah Sulawesi Tengah.
Hasil. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu pada sampel di ruangan Hemodialisa ditemukan jenis bakteri antara lain Staphylococcus epidermidis (37,5%), Staphylococcus cohnii (25%), Staphylococcus aureus (12,5%) dan Proteus penneri (25%).
Kesimpulan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan pada RSUD Undata Palu yang bertempat di Ruang Hemodialisa, maka di dapatkan 4 jenis bakteri dengan bakteri yang terbanyak adalah Staphylococcus epidermidis dan ditemukan 1 jenis bakteri patogen yaitu Proteus penneri.

ABSTRACT Background. The hospital is an institution of medical service that provide personal service in the plenary, such as outpatient, inpatient, and emergency room. The hospital is a place where the sick are treated and placed in close proximity. In this place the patient gets medication and treatment to be healed.
Objective. The objectives of this research was to identificate airborne bacteria in hemodialysis room at undata general hospital palu period of 2016.
Method. This study was observational study with descriptive approach. Sampling was done by simple random sampling with 8 samples . Isolation and identification of bacteria conducted in the Central Sulawesi Regional Health Laboratory
Results. Result of this research found in hemodialysis room are Staphylococcus epidermidis (37,5%), Staphylococcus cohnii (25%), Staphylococcus aureus (12,5%) and Proteus penneri (25%).
Conclusion.based on research conducted on RSUD undata palu,which is located in hemodialysis room, obtained four types of bacteria the highest number is Staphylococcus epidermidis and one type of pathogen bacteria is Proteus penneri.
