 <note>ABSTRAK&#13;
Latar Belakang: Air merupakan materi yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan,&#13;
baik tanaman, hewan maupun manusia. Kehidupan manusia tentu tidak terlepas&#13;
dari kebutuhan akan air bersih terutama air minum. Selama ini kebutuhan akan air&#13;
dipenuhi dari berbagai sumber antara lain air tanah, air sungai, air hujan, air&#13;
pegunungan dan air laut yang diolah sedemikian rupa dan ditawarkan sebagai&#13;
bahan baku air. Kebutuhan akan air semakin lama semakin meningkat sesuai&#13;
dengan keperluan dan taraf kehidupan penduduk. Air yang harus diminum adalah&#13;
air yang sehat yang memenuhi persyaratan Bakteriologi, Kimia, Radioaktif dan&#13;
Fisik berdasarkan Permenkes RI No: 492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010, dimana untuk&#13;
nilai Most Probable Number (MPN)Coliform yaitu 0/100 ml.&#13;
Tujuan: Untuk mengidentifikasi bakteri yang terdapat pada air minum warung&#13;
sari laut di Kelurahan Talise Valangguni Kota Palu Tahun 2017.&#13;
Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan&#13;
studi observasional deskriptif. Dalam penelitian observasional deskriptif, peneliti&#13;
diarahkan untuk mendeskripsikan atau menguraikan suatu peristiwa. Teknik&#13;
pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling.&#13;
Hasil: Pada hasil penelitian didapatkan 6 jenis bakteri yang terdiri dari 2 sampel&#13;
Serratia sp., 1 sampel Citrobacter diversus, 2 sampel Pseudomonas sp., 4 sampel&#13;
Proteus penneri, 2 sampel Proteus mirabilis, dan 1 sampel Citrobacter freundi.&#13;
Kesimpulan: Terdapat bakteri pada seluruh sampel, dimana bakteri terbanyak&#13;
adalah bakteri Proteus penneri. Bakteri Proteus penneri dapat menyebabkan&#13;
infeksi pada saluran kemih dan diare.&#13;

IDENTIFICATION OF BACTERIA ON DRINKING WATER OF SARI&#13;
LAUT IN TALISE VALANGGUNI VILLAGE OF PALU CITY IN 2017&#13;

ABSTRACT&#13;
Background:Water is a very important material in life, both plants, animals and&#13;
humans. Human life certainly cannot be separated from the need for clean water,&#13;
especially drinking water. During this time the need for water is met from various&#13;
sources such as groundwater, river water, rain water, mountain water and sea&#13;
water are processed in such a way and offered as raw water. The need for water is&#13;
increasingly increasing in accordance with the needs and living standards of the&#13;
population.Water to be drank must be healthy water which qualifies bacteriology,&#13;
chemical, radioactive, and physical qualifications based on PERMENKES RI No:&#13;
492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010, in which to score the Most Probable Number&#13;
(MPN) Coliform which is 0/100 ml.&#13;
Objective:To identify the bacteria contained in drinking water of Sari Laut in&#13;
Talise Valangguni village of Palu City 2017.&#13;
Methods: This research used quantitative type method with descriptive&#13;
observational study. In observational research, researcher was directed to describe&#13;
or describing an event. Sampling technique used was total sampling technique&#13;
Results: The research findings reveal that 6 bacteria consisting of 2 samples of&#13;
Serratia sp., 1 sample of Citrobacter diversus, 2 samples of Pseudomonas sp., 4&#13;
samples of Proteus penneri, 2 samples of Proteus mirabilis, and 1 sample of&#13;
Citrobacter freundii.&#13;
Conclusion: There are bacteria in all samples, where most bacteria are Proteus&#13;
penneri bacteria. Proteus penneri bacteria can cause urinary tract infections and&#13;
diarrhea.&#13;
