The American Heart Association report that more stroke attacks in men than females, as proved by the results of studies shows that the prevalence of stroke incidence is greater in men, as evidenced by the results of research shows that the incidence of stroke in men 81.7 per 100,000, and in women 71.8 per 100,000. Objective: To found out the factors associated to stroke incident in inpatient ward at RSUD Undata Palu period of 2015. Method:The research design was Case control. Sampling was done by Purposive non Random Sampling technique. The samples were 104 persons corresponding to the inclusion criteria. The relationship between risk factors and Ischemic Stroke were analyzed using Chi-Square test. Result: Risk factors associated with Ischemic Stroke Occurrence were Age ≥45 years with history of Ischemic Stroke value ρ = 0.00 & OR = 5.94. Hypertension history value ρ = 0.000 & OR = 7,64, and gender value ρ = 0.003 & OR = 3,42. Conclussion:. Risk factors associated with the occurrence of Ischemic Stroke in inpatient ward at RSUD Undata Palu are Age, Gender, and Hypertension. Tujuan. untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian stroke pada Pasien Rawat inap di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Undata Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah Tahun 2015. Metode. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Case control. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Purposive non Random Sampling. Jumlah sampel 104 orang yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Hubungan antara faktor risiko dengan Stroke Iskemik dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil. Faktor risiko yang berhubungan dengan Kejadian Stroke Iskemik adalah Usia ≥45 tahun dengan riwayat Stroke Iskemik nilai ρ = 0,00 & OR=5,94. Riwayat Hipertensi nilai ρ = 0.000 & OR=7,64, dan jenis kelamin nilai ρ=0.003 & OR=3,42. Kesimpulan. Faktor-faktor risiko yang berhubungan dengan kejadian Stroke Iskemik pada pasien rawat inap RSUD Undata Palu adalah Usia, Jenis Kelamin, dan Hipertensi. Kata Kunci : Faktor Risiko, Stroke Iskemik.
