Tinja atau feses merupakan salah satu sumber penyebaran penyakit yang multikompleks . Panti asuhan merupakan suatu lembaga kesejahteraan sosial yang mempunyai peran penting untuk memberikan layanan kesejahteraan sosial pada anak - anak yang terlantar. Derajat kesehatan anak pada saat ini belum bisa dikatakan baik, karena masih banyak terdapat masalah kesehatan khususnya pada anak usia sekolah. Tujuan: Untuk mengidentifikasi bakteri yang terdapat pada feses anak-anak di Panti asuhan Raudathul Ummat. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian studi observasional deskriptif. Dengan tujuan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang gambaran jenis bakteri pada spesimen feses anak-anak di Panti Asuhan Raudhatul Ummah Palu Tahun 2018. Hasil: Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu pada sampel didapatkan Bakteri yang ditemukan yaitu bakteri Citrobacter.sp (34,29%), 7 sampel untuk Proteus penneri. (20%), 5 sampel untuk E.coli (14,29%), 4 sampel untuk Enterobacter.sp (11,43%), 4 sampel untuk Seratia marcescens (11,43%), dan 3 sampel untuk Plesiomonas.sp (8,57%). Kesimpulan: Pada sampel didapatkan Bakteri yang ditemukan yaitu bakteri Citrobacter.sp (34,29%), 7 sampel untuk Proteus penneri. (20%), 5 sampel untuk E.coli (14,29%), 4 sampel untuk Enterobacter.sp (11,43%), 4 sampel untuk Seratia marcescens (11,43%), dan 3 sampel untuk Plesiomonas.sp (8,57%). Stool or feces is one of the sources of the spread of a multicomplex disease. An orphanage is a social welfare institution that has an important role to provide social welfare services for neglected children. The degree of child health at this time could not be said to be good, because there were still many health problems, especially in school-age children. Objective: To identify the bacteria found in the feces of children in the Raudathul Ummat Orphanage. Method: The type of this study is a quantitative study with a descriptive observational study design. With the aim of obtaining information about the description of the types of bacteria in feces specimens of children at the Raudhatul Ummah Orphanage Palu in 2018.
